A Special Session Award consisting of USD300 and an electronic certificate will be made to the organizer(s) of the special session at each ACEE Conference.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Special Session Award is to encourage more outstanding experts or scholars to take part in academic conferences actively, improve their academic and organizational abilities, and broaden their academic and professional careers.
Eligibility:
The organizer of the Special Session with more than 5 articles will receive the award.
Special Session Proposal:
We want to make every ACEE conference an attractive venue, particularly for special sessions, to disseminate state-of-the-art knowledge on a niche topic related to the theme of the conference.
The Special Session (SS) organizers are encouraged to solicit an invited paper/presentation to open the Special Session, though it is optional. Having an invited paper/presentation will help to attract more interest, hence it is strongly encouraged.
The technical program of each ACEE conference will include 5 - 6 special sessions. Each special session will consist of 6 - 10 oral/poster presentations. The special session proposal should contain the following information:
1. Title of the Special Session
2. A brief description of the session (no more than 250 words)
3. Special Session organizer’s name, affiliation and a short CV
Special session proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic, its uniqueness, and qualifications of the proposers. The Special Sessions Chairs will send a tentative accept/reject decision on the proposal to the proposers within 10 days from the reception of the proposal. Accepted special sessions will be listed on the ACEE conference website. To avoid multiple special sessions covering similar topics, it is likely that an accepted proposal will be combined with similar proposals.
